LEICESTER Fox Cubs will then head to Iwade on Sunday to face the newly formed Kent Eagles, with that meeting getting underway at midday.
The home side track a powerful top two of Nathan Ablitt and Ben Morley, who both have extensive Championship experience, whilst a very familiar face lines up at No.3 in former Leicester rider Vinnie Foord.
With Mason Watson ruled out for the Fox Cubs, they bring in youngster Cooper Rushen from the Lion Cubs to guest, whilst a change of riding order sees Sonny Springer switch to No.5.
Team manager Jen Crossland said: “It’s a shame for Mason to be missing out and hopefully he won’t be on the sidelines for too long.
“But it makes sense for us to use Cooper as a guest and as he knows Will (Cairns) well from all their Youth racing over the years we’ve paired them at No.1 and No.2, whilst Sonny went so well at Birmingham he’s ready to race at No.5.
“It’s going to be another tough meeting but we want the riders to learn and progress, and hopefully we can get a good result.”
